"Blockie"is term used to describe a person who lives on a small acreage (usually 5 - 20) in the outer-lying semi rural or bush areas around the NT. A blockie's dwelling is often very primitive and there is usually at least one caravan and one dead car on the block, these are status symbols and a blockies treasured possessions.
