This is NOT for the faint hearted:Here is a picture of what a crocodile can do to a large bullock with a single bite. I've heard a few different stories surrounding this one, each with the story teller at the scene, get the facts are right here. The photo was taken by the owner of the bullock a couple of years back, and no... Troy wasn't there!.
On the Station:The cattle look better than the cook. But we can forgive him for that; he CAN cook and he's not as cranky as some.
Todd River in flood:This was not such a common sight until quite recently, where now days the event seems to happen every year. Here's an aerial snap of the Todd River passing through Alice Springs in 1997. The locals used to say that if you see it flood 3 times, it was time to move on. It could make a very short stay.
