History:
The Larrimah Hotel was originally located 8 kilometres to the south at Birdum, which was the terminus of the (now closed) North Australian Railway. It was then known as the Birdum Hotel, once used as an officers mess during WW2, then in 1952 relocated to Larrimah.
Now Days:
You can't just have one, It's quiet and relaxed enough to have a fair old session. The pub has heaps of character, with every conceivable piece of memorabilia hanging on the walls or ceiling, just the thing to amuse and old bower bird... like me.
